The Strippers and the Champagne Room

A 38-year-old man went to the strip club Platinum Plus on Jacob Road Dec. 15. While he was there, some dancers approached him and invited him into the Champagne Room for a private performance. Told he needed to buy a bottle of champagne, he provided a credit card. The man signed the purchase slip and had to authorize his purchase over the phone, which he believed to be legitimate. He says he was fraudulently charged approximately $10,000 and was intimidated by the club’s bouncers.

OMG, this happened to a friend of mine, luckily we don’t have $10,000. We were in Germany and we (I) decided to go to a strip club and my friend was willing to go with me. We were told we needed to pay like 150 euros each and we did, because we were drunk, and they ended up taking all of his money off his credit card, so he got a job at a fruit stand the next day. What sucks is that we never got anything, I think we accidentally went to a brothel or something.

Sounds like one of the ladies needed some surgery to compete. I’m sure her name was Jasmine Waslewski ’cause she was a pole dancer.

When they asked for authorization, they didn’t verify the amount of the purchase? What kind of verification was that?
