Join Santa’s Motorcycle Gang
Columbia, SC
A 55-year-old man, dressed as Santa Claus and driving a motorcycle with a sidecar, kidnapped an 8-year-old girl on Dec. 17 near Interstate 20 on Bush River Road. The girl, along with her parents and two sisters, was stopped for gas at a convenience store when she met the man dressed as Santa and was seduced into taking a ride on his motorcycle, along with a stuffed Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. The girl’s father chased after the man in his car, going more than 80 mph, until he got his daughter back safe and sound. Santa was later arrested at a bar on Bush River Road. The reason for the kidnapping is unknown.

Hmm…Santa on a bike (better manuverability) vs. paniced father in car (better motivation and focus). Yep, Dad wins. I can only image the intensity of the father’s persuit. I know the police would have needed to set up a serious roadblock and used heavy physical retraints to keep me from getting back one of my kids.
I can hear the suduction dialog now. “That lite in Rudolf’s nose isn’t working and I am taking it back to my workshop to be repaired. Wanna come alone and meet the elves?”

I wonder how that girl’s memories of Christmas are going to turn out in the future?

Santa’s lucky he made it to a bar because I gotta tell ya, I’m with you Ironman. That Santa would have disappeared. Still, if the stories are true, the guys on the inside will make sure Santa has a jolly old time.
