When a Stranger Knocks, And Never Leaves
Clovis, NM
Around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday an officer was dispatched to a hotel in the 600 block of East First Street for a reported disturbance. A woman told them a man had knocked at the door of her room and walked in when she answered. She said she didn’t know him and asked him to leave several times. She said the man sat on the bed and used the phone to call a female, then laid down. The officers noted the man, lying on the bed when they arrived, seemed intoxicated. They placed him into custody for criminal trespass and transported him to the jail.

People are so passive-resistive anymore. Remember the old days when you would just throw him out and he would end up passed out in the hall?

Yeah, but today, that drunk that you threw out into the hall would turn around and sue you for assault. It wouldn’t matter where he was relative to your space!

hell, i’d have let him pass out, and then took his wallet, and it would have served him right for being the drunken idiot that he was….I don’t think I would have wasted my time calling the cops…

I would have written obscenities all over him.

LOL Roo, fun with drunks. I’m reminded of the pictures going around the internet lately. Man am I glad I went through that ‘phase’ before the internet was invented.

But do the pics still exist? Trust me, a 23 year old pic CAN show up on the internet (I’ll admit, I saw myself)

Uh oh! I think a lot of us could be in some trouble, then.

Heck, back in my day we had to widdle pictures out of wood and make ink prints! I’m not worried.
Today, however, it’s really kinda scary. One of my old college room mates just sent me a link to a blog containing graphic pictures and ‘descriptive text’ about a girl I dated briefly in college. Apparently she ticked off a psycho boyfriend and now he’s very quickly and easily destroying her life. These days you have to be very, very careful.
