The Missing Air
Chattanooga, TN
Steve Ogilbee of E. 25th Street said he went to turn on his air conditioning and nothing happened.
He checked and found that his $3,000 central heat/air system had been taken.
A Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise worker found that an $1,800 central heat/air unit was gone from 1700 Read Ave.
Just down the street at 1704 Read Ave., the resident found that the heat/air system was not working.
The CNE employee checked and found that someone had stripped the copper from inside the unit. He said the $3,000 unit was damaged beyond repair.

What’s the big deal, people? Open a window!
I think the guy wth the copper tubing missing was trying to do some work on his AC and messed it up. He took the other units in a desperate attempt to find parts to fix his own.

And nobody seen anything? lol
You can hang your hat in Tennessee, but don’t buy a heatpump.

I turned my a/c on the other day, and nothing happened. After I contacted local law enforcement, the media, and my lawyer, I remembered. I don’t have air conditioning.

I turned on the a/c the other day. My housemates asked if I wanted to pay the whole electric bill…

The guy who took all these units is planning to build a giant air conditioner to combat global warming.

Are you people stupid? He took the a/c’s to get the copper out of them and sell it. It can be worth a lot of money.
