Keep The Home Fires Burning
Cincinnati, OH
When Gary Spoonemore Jr. ran short of cash, prosecutors say, he would set his apartment on fire and live on handouts from the Red Cross.
He admitted to burning a motel room and mobile home and is suspected in four more blazes in Northern Kentucky and Southwest Ohio, Kenton Commonwealth’s Attorney Rob Sanders said.
“It appears the defendant learned he could get money from the Red Cross if he was displaced by a fire,” Sanders said in a written statement. “After that, his homes, all of which were rented, mysteriously started catching on fire whenever he ran short of cash.”

Dang! I never thought of that! Now, see what you can learn on the internet? Of course it’s really going to tick off my wife, but baby, I’m bringin’ home the bacon.

If you’re dumb enough to do it twice you’re probably dumb enough to keep on doing it.

I have an idea. The county jail should rent him out to each of the landlords and the insurance companies until he has worked off what he owes them doing manual labor like cleaning toilets by licking them. Come to think of it he should have to come do toilet licking labor at the homes of each of the consumers of the insurance companies who have to pay higher premiums because of his selfish, lazy, scummy behavior. Too bad one of his fires didn’t catch him on fire.

keeglet, that would be a perfect world. its almost “capital punishment” in a way. if the law would work that way, we would all be in a better world, town, community. i actually wish it would be that way.
