For the third time in a month, police have arrested someone for stealing from the blind owner of the deli inside the Hamilton County Courthouse.
Andre Wilson, 43, of Winton Hills, was arrested at 8:30 a.m. today by sheriff’s deputies and charged with two counts of theft.
Kent Parker, the blind owner of the deli, contacted deputies about several items missing from his shop. Deputy Ken Pendleton reviewed videotape from the deli and identified Wilson as the man stealing a fruit pie and drink – valued at $2.30 – from the shop.
At 8:13 a.m. today, Wilson walked into the Courthouse and then into Parker’s first-floor deli.
He was seen stuffing milk, apple pies, juice and 13 Slim Jims – valued at $9.75 — in his pants without paying for the items, the sheriff’s office said.
He was arrested and charged with theft for the two incidents.
Because the charges involve stealing from someone who is blind, each of the charges is a felony.

I’m with you Mike. And yet, we KNOW that there are pigs out there that would do this…no offense to the pigs out there reading this. I’m sort of torn though. On the one hand, this guy has a right to work and earn his living. On the other, his store is just pig bait and if they wanted, they could arrest and charge some pig with felony theft every single day. I guess that’s a good thing, but geez.

i think they should set up a store like this in every town and city… just so that we can weed out the scum. kind of like the cars with cameras that they leave around town for people to steal so they can catch ‘em.

The blind business owner has his deli INSIDE THE COURTHOUSE. The thief deserves to have felony charges levied against him for robbing from a blind person but also deserves felony charges for being freaking stupid as well.

A reserved room in Hell? The guys in jail…that’s HELL. As for setting up shops that would lure people to steal…..yeah, we need more big brother.
If you ever have anyone get caught up in “The System” you realize real fast you’re in Hell on Earth. And the crime can be a simple misdemeanor. If “they” want, they can drag you thru Hell for years…..along with your family.

as long as this fool keeps spending the time in jail, im all for it. if your gonna steal from a blind person, your damn worthless in the first place. and maybe they should set up stings for stuff like this. i agree with oldewave. lets bait em and hook em. seems like a quicker way to get them off the streets, and out of decent law-abiding citizens’ way.
