1969 Ford Escort?

12:03 p.m. — A caller stated that someone had stolen his 1969 Ford Escort from Home Improvement, but canceled his call for an officer when he realized that he had been driving his work truck instead.

Don’t know what’s more embarrassing. Driving a ‘69 Escort or calling the police because you’re too stupid to remember which car you drove to work.

GT- the Escort has been around since at least 1969. It was originally built in England for the European market. Ritch- if I had a ‘69 Escort, wouldn’t be embarrassed at all, they were very successful race and rally cars and would go like stink with very little tuning. I suspect that this was a typo, though, and they meant an ‘89 Escort… (Just a note for anyone who cares; While the Europeans and Americans could both buy a Ford Escort from their local dealer from the early eighties though most of the nineties, the cars were completely different.)

Well, the Cosworth Escort ranks up there with the Supra and cars that are similar to that type. I seen a video I may have to dig it up and show yas.
