7:45 a.m.: A woman on the 1000 block of Candlewood Drive told police that she believes a pest control company planted cockroaches at her house after she declined to hire the company for pest control services.

If true, it’s a reprehensible marketing scheme. It would be almost impossible to prove the exterminator planted the roaches, though, which lends some believability to the tale..

Her neighbors probably got the service so the roaches left and went to her house. My job was invaded by them when they tore the roach motel next to us down.

However, I think Tamaya has the right idea.
In my town we have what they call “Water Bugs”–look like a black roach, (probably just as nasty) but they are outside running all over the sidewalks….I should know I stepped on 20+ during my walk thru town last night–lmao
