Rio Grande, NM
5:49 p.m. — A Las Lomas Apartments caller said about seven individuals were threatening her because she was parked in the wrong space. She said they had bats and possibly guns. Police reported that everything was okay and no gun was involved. No report was wanted.

6:31 p.m. - Las Lomas police were called to the scene of a disturbance at the Las Lomas Apartments. 7 gang members were beaten and bloodied and found laying in various spots on the grounds of the complex. Weapon used was a ladies handbag. At large is a 73 yr old resident of the apartments.

Parking is at a serious premium in Las Lomas.
Apparently the 7 guys who “owned” the parking space were watching over it until the other 8 drywallers returned from the 7-11 run with the van, circa 1979.

Around here, the seven people would’ve simply lifted her car up on their shoulders and run off with it to hide it somewhere out in the woods.

The caller said she could indentify them in a line-up and they go by the names: Dopey, Grumpy, Doc, Happy, Bashful, Sleepy and Sneezy.
