Late for Work
Marblehead, MA
A school bus driver reported that a purple minivan failed to stop behind him on Jersey Street abd came within a few inches of striking a girl boarding the bus, at 7:48 A.M. According to the report, when the bus driver honked the horn at the motorist, she replied, “What do you want me me to do? I’m late.”

If she had hit the child, she would have been a lot more than late for work!! Too bad the driver didn’t get her plate number so that she would have a ticket. I thought it was illegal to NOT stop for all school busses? Maybe it’s just my state. This is just awful.

Thats why I could’nt be a bus driver , my roadrage instinct would take over and I would have gotten off the bus and slapped that stupid bitch upside her head.

…people should be severely punished for not obeying school driving speed limits and passing stopped buses…the laws are too lienant. Start hitting them with hefty fines and i bet they won’t be doing it any more.

Stopping for school buses is federal, but it’s hard tp give a ticket when there are no policeman present. I live on a main highway and people are REAL bad about stoppiong for buses. We had trouble with a driver from a local trucking company blowing by the stop signs, until the company’s owner found out. That driver is no longer there.
