How’d That Camera Get There?
Orange County, CA
A Garden Grove man accused of sneaking up to girls at the Bella Terra shopping center and taking photographs under their skirts will be arraigned Dec. 3, officials said.
Jason Hanavan, 30, was arrested Monday on Edinger Avenue and Beach Boulevard and charged with invading privacy with a concealed camera, said Huntington Beach police Lt. Mitchell O’Brien.
A witness reported that a man wearing an “Irish’’ hat was going up to girls with short skirts and taking photographs up their skirts, police Officer Corby Bright said. The witness notified security at the Barnes & Noble in the center, Bright said.

Hey, surveillance equipment is far from cheap! He is obviously a member of the Bush administration where privacy concerns are a non-issue. He will probably plead the war against terror and national security concerns as a defense.

Sylvia - It was a political joke. The Bush administratiion has used national security concerns as grounds for hidding documents from the courts more times than any other administration. It is also in favor of limitations on privacy rights in order to increase the power of law enforcement officers due to the war on terror.
Just to be cleat, it was only a joke using current events. It in no way was meant to represent (or not represent) my opinion on any political subject. I would just as quickly make a joke in favor of the administration if I thought it was funny. I much prefer to keep my interactions on this site light-hearted.
