JOLIET — A man called the law to his McRoberts Street home to tell them a woman stole his wallet, but further scrutiny of the matter revealed he “lost” his wallet to a prostitute, police said.
The 19-year-old man called police in the first minutes of Friday morning to tell them a woman robbed him of his wallet.
The man accused a 23-year-old Morris woman of robbing him of his wallet, police said.
Officers grabbed two women located in the area and the man identified one of them as the thief. But the officers were not done checking out the case and ultimately discovered the man was not actually robbed.
“Upon investigation, it was learned that (the man) was not robbed, but received oral sex from (the woman) and lost his wallet,” according to a police report.
