An officer was dispatched to a vandalism call at Polk and Post streets Sept. 18 at 3:52 p.m. Upon arrival, the vandalism was immediately apparent as a rather malodorous smell permeated the victim’s building. According to the victim, the suspect, another resident of the building, threw water and fish oil all over the carpeting in the building creating a huge stink. The suspect was located and arrested. The suspect said, “I was just cleaning up!” The suspect was booked at County Jail as the damage was likely to be valued at more than $2,000.
