I’ll Burn Your House Down!
North Palm Beach, FL
When a resident of the 800 block of Foresteria Drive arrived home from work about 7:30 p.m., he was confronted by a neighbor who said he had just been robbed. The neighbor also said the robber was hiding in the resident’s home and that he was going to burn the home down if the robber didn’t come out. The resident called for help, and a deputy saw the neighbor walk up with two gas cans. The neighbor tried to hide the gas cans behind a commercial trash container, but he was caught and arrested, and the containers were discovered.

Sooooo, did they catch the robber? Or was “he” just an excuse to burn the neighbor’s house down? I’m all for a good barbecue mind you, but I want the fuel supplier to be a willing participant.

That’s a great question, Mike. I’m wondering if this house isn’t actually on Wisteria Dr.

somebody has been watching too many old Hawaii 5 0 reruns.. The one where they decided to burn the Sugar Cane field down to ’smoke’ out the bad guys.

It took me a few times of reading to figure the whole story out…The guy who was “robbed” wanted to burn down the NEIGHBOR’S HOUSE.
You can’t blame the Big Bad Wolf for trying…You can only huff and puff so much before you just resort to burning things. He knew he was going to jail when the other Pig showed up to take his complaint.

This story reminded me of a song by the talking heads “burning down the house”
