The Burned Out BMW

The young woman, owner of a BMW found engulfed in flames along an Isla Vista street, “seemed more concerned about the jacket burning in the trunk†than the actual vehicle, according to the report. The 20-year-old victim, who did not appear to be in distress, continued talking on her cell phone to her parents when authorities arrived on the scene.
The fire, extinguished by fire fighters, incinerated the vehicle to the point that investigators could not find any usable evidence.
The BMW and another nearby car, believed to be a Ford Escort, were found burning on Del Playa Road at 3:40 a.m.

“Yeah, like, its totally, like, burning, like, and I am so toally, like, bummed that, like my, like, Prada jacket is, like in the, like, trunk, and stuff. Like I’m sher the, like insurance is, like, totally, like not gonna like, pay for like, the jacket, ya know, ’cause they’re, like, gonna totally, like, say it, like, wasn’t even, like, really in there, and junk. Well, this like, police guy, or, like, whatever, is like, totally giving me, like, the evil eye, and junk, so, I, like guess I should, like, hang up, and like see what he, like, wants.

Hey, with the price of fashion these days, that jacket could very well have been worth more than the car. Or maybe it was the credit cards in the jacket pocket. One thing for sure…if it was my kid they would be waking for a while.
