I wonder, do these “spirits” drive an old junky car and have no visible means of buying gas (say, a job)? I’ll bet a good locking gas cap will cause these troubled spirits to haunt another sucker…
I take exception to that no visible means of buying gas remark, Mike. I mean, I DO, but why should I when there is a sucker like this just waiting to have something interesting happen to him. I didn’t mean to leave the air hole unplugged while I was siphoning. How was I to know that it would make a wail like a haunted house when I cranked the handle? Naturally, when it started making noise, I went slower to make it quieter, but all that did was change the pitch. By that time, I was having too much fun … what can I say?
