Don’t Cry Uncle
Medina, OH
A Westland Drive uncle’s attempt to scare his 14-year-old niece apparently worked. The Brunswick girl was babysitting at the home Oct. 12 when she heard someone banging on the home’s back doors and climbing up the balcony. She called her father in Brunswick, who in turn called Medina police.
Officers were in the area, and spotted people at the back of the home, who took off running. After a brief chase, the people returned to the home and identified themselves. One was the homeowner, who said he wanted to scare his niece. No word on whether she will continue her babysitting services.

What a piece of work! I hope they find something to prosecute him for, because that’s just wrong. I also hope the girl’s father forbids her from babysitting for the uncle again, just on GPs. The man is obviously lacking a bit in the common sense department. It doesn’t take much imagination to see him getting shot for breaking into his own house. Of course it wouldn’t be considered his own damn fault, either.
