12:28 p.m. — A suspicious bald man was sitting on the bank of a ditch, a caller said. The caller said the man had been sitting there for a couple of hours. The man advised police, “he sits there and ponders life.”

Would he be less suspicious if he was wearing a hairpiece? What is really suspicious is how the caller knew exactly WHAT he was pondering.

Maybe he’s waiting for Jack (in the Box) to come and offer him one of his new breakfast sandwiches — like in the commercial.

Actually, I live less than 5 miles from the border of Texas and New Mexico. Which reminds me of a riddle we have here. “Why are New Mexico license plates red and yellow?” Because those are the international symbols for Caution and Danger.
