9:43 a.m. Subject under the influence of drugs reported on the 700 block of West Second Avenue. “Subject came into the house. Reporting party doesn’t know who he is. Subject is acting scared and looking out of the windows, stating someone is after him. Subject is going around locking all of the doors, although he has never been there before. Subject is carrying a Bible. Subject is pointing in the air as if toward invisible people. Subject is getting anxious, agitated and is clenching his fists. Subject now stealing a cigarette.”

At 6:36 p.m., a man called from Calcite Court to report that a man with a mustache wearing a black leather jacket came to his door and said “God sent me.” The caller told the man he was not interested.

Bridgeton, NJ
A Delaware man reported Wednesday night that an individual who was walking by his South Avenue church motioned to his waist area and told him he should “smoke him” for staring at him.

The victim was unable to provide a thorough description of the suspect, who was not located by police, but told police he believes the individual was armed with a gun.

The victim told police he was looking at the suspect because he was singing very loudly.

At 9:14 p.m., a caller from Bitney Springs Road reported nearly hitting a juvenile who was part of a group of three young people standing in the road. The caller reported seeing one youngster who was dressed all in black and with what appeared to be a toy gun. Deputies determined the three were members of a church group.
