A resident of North River Rock Drive claimed his neighbor, upset about the resident’s dog going to the bathroom in his yard, smeared dog feces on the resident’s lawn furniture and left an angry note.

10:30 a.m. Caller on Cedar St. advised one of the teachers at the above location advised him this morning that his dog dragged a deer head with antlers into his yard. Teacher was unsure who it belonged to but would like to get it back to the owner. Caller advised if anyone calls in to report a stolen deer head to let him know.

A Palmer 911-dialer reported that a propane barbecue was on fire on Porcupine Street and “aggressive dogs” were guarding it.

Medina, OH
Copley police were called out to a Minor Road residence during the early morning hours of July 6 to investigate a report of gunshots being heard. Police who arrived on the scene spotted a shirtless man walking toward his home with a gun in his right hand.

The 51-year-old resident was in his kitchen when the officer found him. There were 45-caliber casings on the floor and slugs in the door stop. The intoxicated man admitted to firing his guns, explaining that his dog was afraid of thunder and that he had to get him “unafraid.” The man was arrested for using a weapon while intoxicated.

A 911 caller told Troopers last Wednesday that his ex-girlfriend was pissed off and pounding on the door of his house on Branding Iron Lane. When Troopers arrived, they found the woman hiding inside a dog house on the man’s porch. She was removed, arrested, and charged with criminal trespass in the first degree.

Santee, SC
A Santee woman reported Monday that her brother shot her vehicle. The bullet went through a window and a seat before lodging in a rear panel.

The brother, who lives next to his sister, said he shot the vehicle with his 9 mm handgun by accident. He was trying to hit a stray dog, he said.

The sister wanted the report made for insurance purposes. Damage was estimated at $1,000.

8:14 a.m. A 50-year-old man in the 1700 block of County Road 509, near Gem Village, left a note last night saying that he was sick and needed to go to Mercy Medical Center. He drank bleach water yesterday, but failed to show up at the hospital. He has an artificial right leg and a long-haired Chihuahua.

A caller from the 200 block of Hazel Drive reported at 10:42 p.m. that a black Labrador Retriever was walking down the street with a bottle of vodka and a vibrator around its neck. Officers were unable to locate the dog.
