Man was going to buy some pumpkins at a farm stand but then told owner pumpkins were expensive and that they were rotten so he was not going to buy them. Owner came out and was yelling at the subject and took off his shirt as if to instigate a fight. Owner’s wife got him to go back in the store but he was staring out at the window at the caller.

Goleta, CA
Loud rap music pouring out the windows of a motor home parked at Goleta Beach around 10 a.m., November 11, caused deputies patrolling the area to investigate. The apologetic owner of the motor home, a 46-year-old male, agreed to turn down the volume. However, his nervous behavior, like continued jaw movement, led deputies to believe the man to be under the influence of a controlled substance. After further questioning, the man explained, “I snorted a line of crank two days ago at a party in Goleta, but it was only to help my toothache.†The self-admitted drug user was cited and released.

Tracy, CA
Someone called police at 8:59 p.m. Monday and said that a man at the intersection of Paradise Road and Pescadero Avenue had attached a rope to an abandoned motor home and was trying to pull it away.
An officer arrived a short time later and found the motor home engulfed in flames. Police called the Tracy Fire Department and someone from Yellow Freight said the person who was involved was driving a white truck.
Police took a report.

2:45 a.m. Caller from the 300 block of Bordeaux Street advised he would like to talk to an officer because his roommate is acting weird. Caller stated that he threw some of his personal items away and now he is just standing there.

Vehicle tampering. Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Old County Road on the report of damage to a vehicle around 8:35 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9. One of the vehicle’s windows was smashed and a witness saw two subjects looking under the hood earlier that morning.

A caller reported that he was in western New York state and had no idea how he got there. The man then stated that he was on the west side of Española and needed an ambulance. A woman picked up the phone and said she was a nurse at the Hacienda de Salud nursing home. The caller was a mental patient, she said, and she was taking away his cell phone.

A 40-year-old man called police after, he said, his 55-year-old mother attacked his 22-year-old girlfriend at 8 p.m. Sunday. The man said his mother was upset because he was divorcing his wife and living with his girlfriend. He said his mother also was upset about the age difference between him and the girlfriend. The mother told the younger woman to leave the home and began breaking things and destroying her property, the man said.
