Damyelle Miller told police he was struck with an iron bat, shot at, robbed and made to strip - all by his cousin. He said he was driving on Lightfoot Mill Road when the cousin, Kevin Kendrick, flagged him down. He said the cousin asked him to get out of the car and talk to him.
Mr. Miller said he walked up the steps to his cousin’s house, then minutes later was walking back down the steps when the cousin picked up a metal bat and hit him several times in the arm.
He said Kendrick ran back up the steps and came out with a black handgun. He fired a shot in the air, then ran down the steps and hit Mr. Miller twice in the head with the gun. He then pointed the gun at him and demanded money, the report says.
Mr. Miller said he told him he only had $20 so the cousin got his wallet and threw it on the ground. After only getting $7 from the wallet, he said he planned to shoot him. He then told him to take off all his clothes, and Mr. Miller said he complied. He said he started walking toward his car to leave, but the cousin called him back to get his pants.
Mr. Miller said he put his pants on and drove to his mother’s house on Dee Drive, where he called police. Mr. Miller said while he was being struck, the cousin told him that his (Miller’s) father told him he (Miller) had burglarized his house several months ago.
The victim had bruises on his right arm, chest and head.
Police were trying to locate Kendrick. They found a .380 shell casing in front of his front door and a baseball bat lying near the front door.
They also found a pair of boxers, a t-shirt and shoes.

A plain-clothes cop in an unmarked police car was patrolling near Chappell and Water streets looking for drug activity when a 26-year-old Columbia woman jumped in front of his car frantically waving her arms to get him to stop.
She asked the cop for $1.50; he said that he worked for his salary and didn’t just give money away. The woman replied that she’d work for her money, too. When the cop asked her what she meant, she said, “I’ll fight, f#!k or throw rocks. How much you got?”
Then she lifted up her shirt, baring her breasts, to show him that she wasn’t wired by police. The cop told her he would meet her behind a liquor store once he’d gone to a bank to retrieve her money.
She waited for him there, and shortly he returned with a few marked police cars in tow. She later admitted to being a prostitute, a drug user and pregnant. She was arrested.
